Skyfall

I went to uni then straight to watch Skyfall the other week. I LOVED the film! It was awesome! You totally need to see it asap if you haven't yet! Daniel Craig was amazing, as was Judy Dench. The story was brilliant too, I really liked the character development and Javier Bardem as the villain was an inspired casting choice! So yeh, basically I loved it and highly recommend it.

Bath Film Festival 2

Hello! I know I promised this post ages ago, but I've been sooooooooo busy! We've had school trips, the Nativity and I've been doing full lessons now too! Plus I have essays and such to write, all for the 7th December, but I don't have any 'free time' at uni as my contact hours are 9-5! OK, I'll stop complaining now and show you some photos!
This is what I wore to the opening night of the Bath Film Festival this year.

Bath Film Festival 2012 Opening Night

I was invited to the opening night of the Bath Film Festival to snap some pictures of the snazzily dressed attendees. I then got to see Safety Not Guaranteed which is an AMAZING film and you should definitely go see it if you haven't all ready! I'm also hoping to get to see the Diana Vreeland movie, The Eye Has To Travel and Bill Cunningham New York. They have a ton of other brilliant films on too, I would highly recommend Duel, Steven Spielbergs first ever movie, which was made for TV if I am not mistaken. It has been remade into a tragically awful teen horror movie at some point in the 90s under a different name. there's an hour and a half I'm never getting back! But the original is a suspenseful masterpiece! To find out more info check out their website here. It's on from the 14th to the 25th November. Anyhoo, back to the clothes!

I love this girls jacket! And the glasses are super cute!

I adore the accessories she is wearing! They really take the outfit up a level. Casual chic done perfectly, no?

This dude was taking the mick out of me photographing his friend, but I liked his colour combination!

This dude is so Bath. I love the orange bag, it's from Baggu. The jacket and bag really go well in an unexpected way, and I've always got a soft spot for a v-neck and a scarf on a man.

Pink on a man can go so wrong! But he's picked the perfect colour, the elbow pads add a little extra something to the outfit, and the trousers and checked shirt keep the pink from being, well, wrong, heh!

The trousers, need I say more?!

Beautiful handmade poppy! Puts the paper ones to shame!

My friend, who is helping to organise all things Film Festivally in an amazing jumpsuit by New Look (I think...).

My other friend in yet another New Look creation!

Right I'm in work tomorrow, so I'm going to attempt to get to sleep again. I've picked up a cold and sleep is not forthcoming :( Don't forget to check out the Bath Film Festival website for more info here. And check back tomorrow to see what I wore...I'll give you a hint, it involved sequins!

Bonfire Night

It was my first Bonfire Night in the UK in 4 years, and it was awesome! We went to the fireworks in bath on
Saturday, had a pint of cider and a hot dog, then went to the pub. :D

Star Trek!

Hello! So a few weeks ago I had the best weekend of my life, ever! I'm a bit of a Trekkie (well, more than a bit) so I took my Dad to the convention in London on the 19th - 21st October. It was amazing and I got to meet Patrick Stewart and William Shatner among others. Here's some pics from the fabulous weekend, jealous?!

Lip Gloss

Went out a couple of weeks ago now (I'm far too old and boring to go clubbing now, heh) with my new housemates. Was a wicked night called Lip Gloss, I think it's new, but I swear the djs read my mind all night. The majority of the music was fab, especially seeing as I'm an oldie venturing into the world of students again! Anyhoo, this be what I wore. I've been procrastinating all day, bad Jen! I should probably go and do some work! Have to teach part of a PE lesson tomorrow, wish me luck!

A quick snapshot!

Hey guys, just a quick, pretty bad, shot of what I was wearing the other week to uni. I've been hella busy and am minus a photographer as he's still in Japan atm. Sad times. However, I will endeavour to get more shots soon! Settling into uni life again ok, although not having money to go shopping is a bit hard! But the actual content for the course is pretty fun. Already had one project to do and we ended up displaying our work on an umbrella, which was kick ass! And so much fun! Ah well, must get back to planning a PE lesson (I know, I know, me and sport...).

Long Time and Still No See

Hey guys, just a little note to say I am still alive! I've just moved from Japan back to England and my laptop is broken so I haven't been able to blog in ages, so sorry! It will all be up and running again in a couple of weeks! Hope you're all having a fab summer and I'll speak to you all soon!

The Blues

I've got the blues as I'm leaving so many fab people when I leave Japan :( and I also appear to be wearing the colour a lot recently (as in the last 4 days!). I wore blue shoes today too, actually!

I wore this outfit to my friend's birthday/sayonara party. It's so ridiculously hot and humid here now that nothing is cool enough. Riding my bike to and from work is like my own personal hell for 20 minutes each way! I've had to resort to taking a change of clothes so I can get changed as I'm so gross, eeeew! I'm actually looking forward to British weather, hah!

Religious Symbols

Cute little shrine right? It was down a little alley around our apartment. It's sooooooooo hot and humid right now that nothing short of a bikini is comfortable attire! Although this outfit wasn't too bad, the waistband was kinda warm! Took these on our way back from lunch before we went out for a friend's birthday/leaving party. Pics to come soon!
Btw, this not a Nazi swastika, it's used to represent temples in Japan. If you don't believe me read this!
