Red Suede Legs

Yay! I can fit into my skinny trousers once more! You know how we all have a pair of trousers that used to fit once upon a time and we wish we could fit into them once more? Well these lovely faux suede leggings are mine. I bought them at H&M in Japan a few years ago now and haven't worn them for well over a year. But now they fit again and they are so comfy! And who doesn't love bright red trousers?! Sorry I've been AWOL I've been crazy busy trying to get a new job and I finally got one today, yay! Got a few more outfits from the past few weeks to post so keep an eye out.

I've finally figured out how to get my hair wavy without waiting for ages for it to fry naturally, yay! What do you guys think? I love it like this for a change.

Oakley Hall

Due to moving down south to uni for my ex and not because it was nearby, it's a really long way to drive just for graduation! So me and the fam made it into a mini holiday and stopped off at Oakley Hall on the way. Everyone should go! It's amazing! The rooms were gorgeous, the surroundings were beautiful and the food was delicious!

The Last Night in Bath!

Well, I've done it! I made it through my PGCE and am now officially a teacher (well when I graduate). I have a job all lined up starting in September to teach very cute Y1s. I can't believe I'm going to have  my own class, I'm so excited! I've moved back up home for a couple of months whilst I find somewhere to live near my job so I've left Bath now. My last night in Bath was awesome. We had a meal then headed out to karaoke. I'm very grateful for all the lovely friends I've made over the last year who've been so amazing, especially in the past couple of weeks! So anyways, here's what I wore on Friday! :D

Coming Home

So on our last day of the holidays it rained, but that was OK as we spent the day in the Palace of the Grand Masters. Then the Museum of Archaeology, which is AMAZING and then had a 2 and a half hour and slightly boozy late lunch. After that it was time to head home.

Couldn't decide which picture was best! This white jumper I bought from Topshop has been so worth it. I've worn it loads and it's really comfy! I'm also in love with, basically, what is a floral shell suit, who knew they'd be back?!

Outback!

Tom won a voucher for Outback Steak House in a raffle at the leavers do so we treated ourselves today! We had mini BBQ ribs to start, then I had a steak and chips, Caesar salad and veg. It was delicious, but I'm soooo full now!
Took some pics of my outfit, but it was chucking it down so had to take them in the station, oh the joys of rainy season! Tom also saved the day as we'd forgotten our umbrellas so he rode back home in the rain, picked up my rain gear and rode all the way back again so I didn't get wet. My hero! ;p

Sunday

On Sunday went back in to town to actually buy my snowboarding gear after comparing prices. I had to get some new trousers as my old ones have ripped. I was soooo tempted by a very cute onesie but it was way too expensive. After that we went straight out to see a mate DJ at GothTrad's album release party. My mate was awesome (DJ BigTed) as was the man himself, GothTrad! Due to silly laws and policemen in Japan the event started around 5.30pm, so it was a bit strange to begin with, but you soon forget what time it is in a dark club with awesome music so you just dance the evening away! (A few G&T's helped too!)

2012 is the year of the necklace

Went into town for a delicious Chinese meal and a catch-up with friends. I've decided that 2012 is my year for fabulous necklaces (well at least the first few months anyway). I got this dress in the sale and I'm in love. It's so comfy and the little details, like the rolled down edges of the sleeves, just make it that little bit more special. Also, what do you think of my new coat? Got it in the sale too, half price. Love a good bargain. Currently curled up on the sofa watching Community. Pretty good Friday night really.

Hong Kong 2

The weather said thunderstorms for Hong Kong before I left but it was actually pretty warm and humid so very glad I packed this maxi skirt. This was on our third day when we woke up rather hungover and spent the day wandering around the city and enjoying afternoon tea at the Penisula (a truly British colonial experience). The top photo is from the entrance to a Mosque. We also visited the Botanical And Zoological Gardens, which are free! I bought the boots you can just see at the Ladies Market on Kowloon. I love paring maxi skirts and dresses with clumpy boots for Autumn, plus it's added comfort points! Am also feeling the side knot for my hair when it's a little worse for wear right now, it's something a bit different than just a topknot or a normal bun.

Hong Kong

Sorry I've not blogged in a week or so, the internet at home has been down (wireless still is) and then I spent 4 days in Hong Kong with my boyfriend. Hong Kong is awesome btw! This is from Hong Kong Park on our way to the tram to go up to the top of the Peak.

An Oldie.

My boyfriend is back in England for 10 days so back to using my own computer that has a cracked screen. Hopefully getting a new one around Christmas though.

Elin Kling Inspired

Had a fun night with my friend who is back in Japan (yay!) and our lovely boyfriends. We went for all you can eat dinner and ended up in karaoke. Oh and there was also a bike accident and a long journey home with my boyfriend having to double us back on my bike due to his being broken, lol!
Anyway, I decided to wear one of my new T by Alexander Wang tops so I went for an Elin Kling inspired look. I love the top so much. It's so comfortable and light! Which, with summer now here in Japan is a necessity!

Oh yeh, I never made it to the gym yesterday, oops! But am gonna have a workout at home today. Have a big sayonara party tonight but as I'm working all day tomorrow I can only go for the posh meal bit in the hotel. Am having a total outfit crisis as I ordered a dress form Nastygal but it's not here yet so have NO idea what to wear! Ah well, I'm sure I'll think of something. Hopefully I'll get some pics to show you guys. Have a good weekend everyone!

Hey guys. How's everyone doing? Despite not having very many lessons to teach this week, I've still had one hell of a busy week! Remember in this post I mentioned I'd bought some new basics from Netaporter? Well here's some pics. I bought a racer back vest and a 'classic muscle' T-shirt from T by Alexander Wang. I'm in love, they're so soft and comfortable. I'm off out for dinner tonight (after the gym, eek) and think I may wear one of them in an Elin Kling inspired outfit.
