Ancient Kamiros

Hello, on Tuesday we had the best day ever! I am a total history nerd and so I very much enjoyed spending a few hours looking around the ancient ruins of a city that was destroyed by an earthquake, well 2 to be exact. After the second one the residents upped and left. Don't blame them really. You get to actually go down into the ruins and walk down the main street, in the temples and around the houses. I loved it! :D

Blue Sea, Blue Sky, Ancient Ruins and a Medieval Town

Today was gloriously sunny and we spent most of the day in the Old Town of Rhodes. We also took a trip up a mountain to see an old monastery and some amazing views. There were so many peacocks there, and I think it might be mating season as the males were totally facing off with each other. They're so noisy! I also didn't know peacocks could fly (I know, I know...) I mean I thought they were like chickens, like low flying scrappy kinda thing, but apparently not! We went back into Rhodes Old Town for dinner and saw these cute medieval windmills (last picture) before we stuffed our faces at a fantastic restaurant. So far I'm loving Rhodes!
Oh yeh, we also drove through Faliraki but it was completely closed! Even the supermarkets had empty shelves, so weird! Although probably much more attractive than an open Faliraki!

4. Me at the acropolis.
5. Coat of arms down the Avenue of the Knights, Rhodes Old Town.
6 & 7 peacock and views from the top of the mountain.

Cards Against Humanity

Went round to a friend's house to play Cards Against Humanity. An awesome game, especially the more inappropriate you get! It's ridiculously humid and hot in Osaka right now so it's hair up and cool clothes time! Unfortunately something really gross happened on the way home though....as Tom and I were changing trains and crossing the platform, a really drunk Japanese guy vomited all over us! It was so gross! Luckily we weren't far from home so as soon as we got back we had a shower and did some laundry, but still, eeeeeeew! I tried some new nail stickers too. They look cute but the ends are always messy so maybe I won't be using them anymore as they only lasted one night. Last night was a fab BBQ and tonight was a leaving party. Photos to come soon! Must get to bed now as I'm off to the Osaka Beer Festival tomorrow, yay! Love national holidays! Night guys, hope your weekend has been as epic as mine!

And your great, great, great, grandaughter has gills!

Yeh, so the title came about after partying for like 14 hours, lol! My mate had a BBQ on his patio, after my boyfriend had been there for 7 hours we took a break for 2 and a half hours of karaoke and then went back to the party til about 6.30am. My boyfriend and I then went in a search for a bacon double cheese burger but BK and Maccy D's only had their breakfast menu, ergh. Luckily First Kitchen came to our rescue and we made it home around 7.30am. It seems I'm staying up and doing all nighters a lot atm, but I'm really not, honest!
Anyhoo, it's getting hotter and hotter in Japan, so here's what I wore for my all nighter! Oh yeh these pics were taken at like 6am when I'm pretty wasted, lol!

The Diet Starts After The Holiday...

How many times have you uttered the above statement? Heh, Tom and I were discussing, iver an all you can eat korean meat and kimchi dinner, about how we're going to start a new diet and exercise plan after out holiday to Singapore next week, heh. No I really men it, as I tuck into more meat....Anyhoo, we went into town today due to it being a national holiday and this is what I wore. Oh yeh, we went to Konan, it's like a BQ or Home Depot I guess, hence the pictures in the lighting section, heh.
